Even though there may be a few treatments, our experts will know how to treat your situation best.

Direct treatment of the Termite Nest
Termite nests located in trees pose a threat; the nest is called an arboreal nest, and Termite nests bulging out of the ground are called ground mounds. These nests are usually treated using Termidor.
Not all species of termites build nests that are visible, some nests are buried in hills, located in trees, inside walls, and are often found inside roof voids, which are always unbeknown to the homeowner.
Baiting live termites
Once feeding commences on the bait, over time, eradication of the Colony is achieved.

8 Important points about Termite Treatments
- Termite Inspection
Before any treatments, a visual Termite Inspection is always considered essential to all surrounding areas, including the structure.
- Live Termites found
When termites are found, they need to be left undisturbed. Did you know, Live Termites must come in direct contact with the Termiticide to be a successful treatment.
- Termite Treatment
When applying a chemical like Termidor, it is best to tape up the areas and leave the termites undisturbed. This way, the termites can go about their duties, transferring the Termiticide throughout the Colony.
- Termite Treatment requires minimum disturbance.
After treatment, waiting for 3 -4 weeks is required to give the termites time to travel back and forth from the site to the nest; this will help eliminate the Colony. Taking your time at this stage is critical in ensuring a successful eradication.
- Re-Inspection
Re-inspection of the areas after treatment is an integral part of the treatment program. A further invasive inspection is required, and assistance from a qualified builder is always considered an essential part of the invasive inspection.
All areas treated should be opened to allow a visual inspection of all damaged areas. Why? – 1. To check for live active termites. 2. To determine structural damage 3. To find termite entry points. - Invasive Inspection
Once the property has been checked and assessed by a qualified builder, the live active termites are no longer visible.
- Termite Treatment Results
Live Termite treatments do not protect properties from further Termite ingress; they are designed to eradicate termites and achieve colony elimination.
- Termite Protection Program
Once the active treatment plan is complete, a Termite Barrier, Termite treated zone, or an Interception & Baiting System should be installed to prevent further infestations.
