Microcerotermes Species are often under estimated by many professional pest control companies, labeled as not an aggressive subterranean termite!!
Best to be sure you understand that this termite will attack pine frame and hardwood timbers within a home. They will build nests in roof voids and wall cavities, damage fences, retaining walls and landscaping timbers. I have no idea why anyone would identify this termite as a none threatening species when they can do the damage it does, they may work slower or not be as aggressive as Schedorhinotermes and Coptotermes Species, however they will damage homes that leads to an expensive exercise for a homeowner when repairing damage, plus the eradication costs and protecting the home.
